The Psalm

This morning, as I was announcing my woes to God, He plainly stated that it was time for me to read Psalms 100. It's a little chapter that is packed with a lot of goodness. I like it. And, it set my day right up there with the patches of sun we've been getting. I need sun, I need safety, I need truth, I need, need, need!!
God was quick to point out that I have, have, have!!
Okay, Jesus, I will praise You on this day, and I will thank You for meeting my needs, and giving me all the blessings that I do have. You are an awesome God!
Psalms 100 says it all:
"Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are HIS people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
 And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations."
Ah, that is beautiful, just like my Lord is beautiful, steadfast, and true.
Say That Again to me everyday, Lord Jesus, and I will praise Your Holy Name!

  1. Hi Bethany, I entered a comment on your Say That Again-- The Psalm. I don't think it got posted correctly--Anyway it went something like this. I love this. I love Ps 100. Every time I get down or feeling and thinking about my self depravegation I think of all that God has promised--joy, happiness, peace, self worth in the indwelling of His Spirit and love. And Ps 100 rings worth! Thank you for sharing and saying it so well. jk

  3. I like when you reference a specific Scripture. It makes me curious and then I go read it. Psalm 100 led me to Psalm 103 which made me feel safe and combated my insecurities. Thanks. Kathy
