The Fake People

There was a comment made to me the other day that really struck me, a women said that she wished she could practice life on fake people. I replied by saying it shouldn't be too hard to find a few fake people to help her out.
I've been thinking about that comment and this morning as I was praying about it, God sent me to Psalms 80, In this chapter there are a couple verses that stood out: "O God, restore us, and shine your face upon us, and we will be saved." and then "Revive us. and we will call upon Your name. O Lord of hosts, restore us; cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved."
This chapter made me think of how deeply we, I need God to continually restore and revive me. I need Him to keep me real. I think it is easy to be fake and to pretend that I am without problems and without sin and without need. That is the deception the enemy wants me to believe, he wants me to be fake. He does not want me to admit my needs or my lack or my deepest longings to God. The enemy does not want me to recognize that I need relationship! If I am fake I am OKAY all the time. Everything is great. I do not need God to restore me or bring revival to my heart on a daily basis.
As God has said to me many times, He is my Revival and my Restoration and He is the One I am to focus on. He is the Healer and the Mighty One. Today I am praising Him for the reality restoration and revival, and I am asking Him to take all that is fake in me and make it real. Jesus Say That Again, You restore all things, revive all things You are my reality!
